Candlemaking Workshop
Learn the science of candlemaking and mix up 3 custom scents. Students will have 12 oils to mix and they will learn best practices for pouring the perfect candle. Students will create three 8 oz candles. A variety of jar options can be offered.
Block Printed Kitchen Towels
Learn linocut block printing and use your own designs to customize three large flour sack towels.
Shibori Dyeing: Napkins & Towels
Shibori dying uses traditional folding patterns and natural indigo dye to create beautiful dye patterns on fabric. Students will bind, twist, and fold four or more organic cotton napkins or towels and will dye them on site in an indigo vat.

Shibori dying uses traditional folding patterns and natural indigo dye to create beautiful dye patterns on fabric. Students will bind, twist, and fold a Japanese style apron, flour sack towel, and terry utility towel and will dye them on site in an indigo vat.
Kitchen Bar Soaps
Students will learn to make kitchen bar soaps with castile soap base and will choose functional essential oils that offer cleaning properties.
Laundry Soap Workshop
Create a trio of laundry products using natural ingredients and pure essential oils. This class focuses on reducing plastic laundry waste and creating products that are cheaper and more effective than store bought detergent. These products are truly superior!
